Larree, that's a bad one. :>)
I was going to list Sarah Palin but I actually enjoy when she talks and makes an asshole out of herself.

I just watched some of it. It was entertaining. So what do you suggest, they do nothing at all?
I find your strong opinions about this odd, didn't you say you don't work? If you don't pay taxes what is your issue?

Political talk show commentators, whether they're coming from the Right or the Left.
They're always self-righteous and pompous.
Of course, if they would allow themselves to be put on-air with commentators from the other side, something resembling the truth might actually be approached.
I miss the MacLaughlan Group.

I'm glad we have a President that gets off his ass and rushes ... if it don't work he'll be rushing again ... and again ... until something works ....
Shit takes WAY too long in Washington ... The longer they argue, the worse things get ... and then they wind up with the same bill they started out with anyway ...
They are all idiots .... especially the Repubs ....

Well I don't see stating facts as fear .... I don't know where all of you are from but I invite you to take a drive to the middle of the country ...
There you can drive down almost any main street ... in any town ... and see what the corporate greed and the Republican mindset has done to these towns ... Most everything is falling apart ... the windows are mostly covered with plywood ... the homes are in disrepair ... the streets are full of pot holes ... the playground equipment is rusted and falling down ... the ONLY thing booming is the Walmart at the edge of town ...
... and what is truly baffling is that these states always vote republican and help to slaughter themselves in the process ...
Yesterday I read a book titled What's the Matter With Kansas ? by Thomas Frank ...
I invite you all to take a read ... I think it might open some eyes ...

Cool song Larree, wow...
But getting serious for a moment.., why in the hell didn't Steve Forbes run for president in 2008?
http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110007139
"Fiscal Associates of Alexandria, Va., an economic consulting firm, did an analysis of the flat tax. Its findings: Between 2005 and 2015, the Forbes Flat Tax Plan would generate $56 billion more in new government revenue than the current income tax. More important, an estimated $6 trillion in additional assets would be created, an immense boost to our nation's balance sheet. This study also predicts that that flat tax would lead to nearly 3.5 million new jobs by 2011jobs that otherwise would not exist."

"the ONLY thing booming is the Walmart at the edge of town ..."
I'm vary familiar with that Sam only it's not just Walmart looting small town America, they and other corporate venture travel in packs setting up outside county seats targeting private businesses that have existed for generations and pretty much shutting down entire business districts.
Anti-trust laws were designed to prevent these type of abuses but somehow lawmakers forgot they were on the book..
It's BS though.., Walmart and other corporate giants should have never been allowed to loot small town America the way they did..

Sterling ... you are always wondering why people seek liberal agendas ... I suggest to you if you really want to know read the book I posted about ...
The author was a Republican ... and NOT a poor boy striking out at the rich boys ... he was a rich republican ... who lived in the middle of those corporate giants that you just seem to love ... he'll tell you exactly what they think about "the little people" ... and how those Corporate tax cuts that you seem to love so much are welcomed by them while they laugh at the "stupid little people" ...
Talk about using fear ... he tells the story in there that I know all too well from first hand experience ...
It used to be Government put up jobs for bid ... but now it's the Corporates who use fear tactics and make Governments put up the bids ... "you give us these tax breaks or we will pull the jobs out of here and take them over seas"
Boeing is a major culprit of these practices ... They have been given all of their plants ... their land ... their machinery ... all free, and the Tax payers have been given the bill ...
Take the new jet they are building ... They told Kansas if they even wanted to be considered for the production that Kansas taxpayers had to fork over 50 million dollars, with no guarantees and the money was nonrefundable ... Which the idiots did ... as soon as they got the money they put the Wichita plant up for sale ... and they laid all of us workers off ... and shipped the work overseas ...
That is your Republican America ...

"Steve Forbes would be an awful candidate, in fact he already was in the past."
He would be a great president, he's balance the budget and get this country back on it's feet..
Did you also just hear tax cuts are the cause of our current economic woes btw? Do you know what govt. cheese tastes like? It's actually pretty good Holo but you want to get in line early. Slap a nice thick slice of that in some day old bread and you got lunch for about a dime. And when you're feeling extravagant a .39c can of Cambell's Tomato Soup and some saltine crackers go a long way..

Sam, I was very happy with the Reagan-era Republicans but that changed when George Sr became president, don't count me among loyal republicans, they're not my party anymore.
With a strong leader like Forbes things could be different though and give the president of either party line-item veto power they both might become more effective but for right now I think I'm gonna start stocking up on cambell's soup & saltine crackers..

Like I keep harpin' on - We are in the beginnings of a DEPRESSION.
We need Obama & crew to do some stuff like Roosevelt did years ago.
OR just plain RE-distribute that WEALTH out there a bit, god dammit!
WAKE UP people before it's too late. AmeriKKKa is drowning in a cess pool of the fat-rich pigs out there....
The GAP has grown to where there are BASICALLY TWO classes in U.S.A. the RICH & the POOR.....
Now, I'll shut up. Gotta go to my slave-ass day job.

Wait!! One more thing before I shut up, and go to slave-land....
Say goodbye to the crazy look you see to the left there....
Boss-man is SHAVING it today, so I get my damn job back.
SO I'll look like an anti-racist skin-head in a tie, until it all grows in again....
