What an amazing statesman Obama is.
He's making history, often.

Only time will tell, Holo.
In the mean time, I think you need to change your pants.

That was unexpected, Larree. Glad to hear that.
What's your problem, Hop on Pop?

Holo, I've told you before:
I agree with you on most issues, as I consider myself to have mostly Liberal views, as well.
My only real problem is the way you (and other folks, including the Limbaugh/FOX News Dittoheads) come off like a cheerleader or a fanboy; cheering for their team.
And, I agree that the speech yesterday was excellent.
But, was your post really necessary, other than to say "Hooray for my team!"? It's kinda shallow.
It's baiting and evokes no real political dialogue... only mudslinging.
I think you're a well-intentioned guy, who is just misguided in his rhetoric and the way he presents it.

I haven't made a lot of posts here lately and I thought the speech in Egypt was really special, it's not anything like what we would've seen by previous presidents in my lifetime. I don't really see what's wrong with being moved by a speech and lauding it in a blog.

I think he raises the bar for the time being, makes many other politicians look like clowns or just look interested in selfish pursuits.

JUST watched the whole thing. I even missed Wheel of Fortune! (I don't actually watch Wheel of Fortune, just so you know)
He walked into a mine field and delivered a speech that was complete and absolute brilliance.
He schooled everybody, and then they all stood and cheered him.
Incredible ... it feels good to be American again.
... he's a guy who is as comfortable in the Muslim world as the Christian world and understands both very clearly.
GWB otoh, totally lost the Muslim world when he mispronounced "The Qur'an", "The Queer Ones"
Ha ... that GWB, what a cut up.
Giving him a library would be such cruel irony.

I thought this visit went much better than when the last President went over there, appeared to be drunk, greeted the Egyptian President by shouting "Yo Pharoah dude!", refering to his wife as "the lovely Cleopatra", asking him if he had a harem, repeatedly stating how much he enjoyed their Cairo syrup on his pancakes, and asking "So, ...what's the deal with that big cat thing?"

FTB's post is so abstract, I'm not sure WTF it means.
Bambi?

Obama I'll continue to remain skeptical until Obama fulfills his campaign promises to pass legislation ending the systematic oppression of animals, and banning Zebras once and for all.
