hey, if you tweet set your time zone to Tehran, it helps create a mask for these kids as the Govt. is using time zone to figure out where and who these kids are. If we all tweet from that zone it makes it hard to sift out who is who.

History is being made before our eyes. The real reason to twitter is manifesting itself. It is impossible in this information age to hide the truth. I pray that Neda, and those like her did not die before our weeping eyes in vain. Green up your twitter avatar to show support, and outrage. We can show the solidarity in our humanity.

Please support this Iranian band 'Font'
It was in August 1st 2007 when the band made the history in Iran's music history by managing an underground rock concert with some other bands in Karaj ( Tehran Suburb ). Ofcourse things like that happen rarely in a country such as Iran. So there was no wonder that the crowd rushed to the biggest event in history. Nearly 600 people gathered around. From regular teenagers to other musicians, actors, students and so on, It was the first world class Open-Air Concert after irans 1979 revolution.
The music was going and laughter floating when doors were crashed by the Iranian Police. Mercedes benzes, helicopters and police forces rushed in. " people trying to escape through the walls, screaming and running, I was just lying on the grass, numb, shocked but unable to make a move. Escaping was a brief moment that passed my mind but staying and sticking to my brother and friends and to our instruments made more sense at that moment, Knowing what we did was Playing Music !!!" Ash recalls.
Nearly 250 people were arrested that day accused of attending a "satanic" party and disrupting moralities. All the band members were sentenced to prison for 21 days.
After taking the charges, the band gathered around, totally devistated. To total surprise they didn’t back off but Recorded their second Collection " A free world Isnt It? " which is 3 Tracks of Speed up Indie rock songs.
Their style changed from a rock and roll band to mainly a more Minimal-Pop Sound, influenced by bands such as blocparty and Foals and persons such as Philip Glass and Steve reich, they used minimal harmonies in their musical composition. Although music was going well, the band faced some difficulties within itself when Souroush ( former Drummer ) declared that he was no longer willing to accompany the band. As before FONT never crashed and was joined by Ali as the new drummer.
The band became even more influenced by Their own kind of Composition and tried to get even closer to minimalism in harmony .
FONT is currently working on its Debut album and is willing to tour in UK soon.

I'm not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try Larree.
I suspect that Leon Panetta & Co. as well as the NSA are hard at work on this too. Fortunately HRC is temporarily out of commission, so there's more "action" and less talk.
WTG Holo, et al.
Once in a while, we can all agree on something, eh?

Here's part of what they're up against:
Fed contractor, cell phone maker sold spy system to Iran
Two European companies — a major contractor to the U.S. government and a top cell-phone equipment maker — last year installed an electronic surveillance system for Iran that human rights advocates and intelligence experts say can help Iran target dissidents.
Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), a joint venture between the Finnish cell-phone giant Nokia and German powerhouse Siemens, delivered what is known as a monitoring center to Irantelecom, Iran's state-owned telephone company.
A spokesman for NSN said the servers were sold for "lawful intercept functionality," a technical term used by the cell-phone industry to refer to law enforcement's ability to tap phones, read e-mails and surveil electronic data on communications networks.
In Iran, a country that frequently jails dissidents and where regime opponents rely heavily on Web-based communication with the outside world, a monitoring center that can archive these intercepts could provide a valuable tool to intensify repression.
Lily Mazaheri, a human rights and immigration lawyer who represents high-profile Iranian dissidents, said she had suspected that the government had increased its capability to monitor its perceived enemies.
Recently, one of her clients was arrested because of instant messaging he had participated in with Ms. Mazaheri, she said.
"He told me he had received a call from the Ministry of Intelligence, and this guy when he went to the interrogation, they put in front of him printed copies of his chats with me. He said he was dumbfounded, and he was sent to prison."
