Sarah Palin doesn't like Asians, according to her father
Did Sarah Palin leave Hawaii because there were too many Asians? In the New Yorker review of "Going Rogue," Sam Tanenhaus writes that Palin's father suggested as much to the reporters who wrote "Sarah From Alaska." The account contradicts the former Alaska governor's own description of her reasons for leaving college in Hawaii after only one semester.
Palin, though notoriously ill-traveled outside the United States, did journey far to the first of the four colleges she attended, in Hawaii. She and a friend who went with her lasted only one semester. "Hawaii was a little too perfect," Palin writes. "Perpetual sunshine isn't necessarily conducive to serious academics for eighteen-year-old Alaska girls." Perhaps not. But Palin's father, Chuck Heath, gave a different account to Conroy and Walshe. According to him, the presence of so many Asians and Pacific Islanders made her uncomfortable: "They were a minority type thing and it wasn't glamorous, so she came home." In any case, Palin reports that she much preferred her last stop, the University of Idaho, "because it was much like Alaska yet still 'Outside.' "

Well, from what I've heard Hawaii isn't isn't the only place they've taken over.
I do know that both Godzilla, and Mothra have had some notable run ins with them in the past. And from what I've seen, Tokyo seems to be particularly lousy with the bastards these days.
Now personally, I have nothing against them, mind you. In fact, I enjoy their massage palours immensly.
So I have no problem with them being in Hawaii, ....yanno, as long as they're not flying around early Sunday mornings, like they do, making noise, upsetting people, and dropping all those torpedo bombs and such; whilst folks are trying to sleep in,
...but then it seems like every bushel has a few bad apples amongst the bunch these days. Maybe having them in there adds a little something extra to the flavor of the applesauce.
Some say that diversity is the spice of life. I dunno, whether this Palin person or her Dad would agree with that or not, but I say live and let live, lots of places to see and be for everyone.
For what it's worth, ..Godzilla says they taste like chicken, so maybe she's just a vegetarian or something..
