Who wants a gas card for Christmas?!
Ok, so I have been a little stumped purchasing for certain family members that are a little more "hip" than myself. I have settled on purchasing them gas cards, as they are of driving age and ability. What do you think? "Hot" or "not"? (lol...a little pop culture humor for myself).

I think a gas card is a great idea. Money for gas was always a delemna when I was a teen. I'll say "Hot!."

I am one of those awkward people to buy for. Me's thinks it's handy, but it's not very ............eat a load of mince pies, then wash 'em down with eggnog while we listen to Christmas songs and rummage through our presents feeling.......Know you what I mean!!?

I think it totally depends on the person. I know when I just started driving it would have been the perfect gift, because driving was synonymous with freedom. I never had enough money for gas, but when I did I was outta there! Now it would be meaningless, because I only drive to the places I have to drive to, like work. I don't even look at gas prices anymore because it doesn't matter how much it costs, I use the same amount anyway.
So for an 18 year old with access to a car but not much money, it's great!

As long as there's no expiry date, service charges or any other hidden scams that often accompany gift cards, GO FOR IT!!
Excellent gift --but check the fine print before buying is my advice.
If you pay fifty dollars they should be able to buy fifty dollars (not $45.87 or something) and it should be good FOREVER because they took your money in advance.
