OK, JO,
I originally posted the pictures to draw attention to the practise of animal cruelty, ie the inhumane trapping and destruction pf a fairly harmless and totally defenceless creature.
I found those two dead moles adjacent to a serious trap, which I believe may be large enough to trap and kill otters, a protected species,
Thats why I posted the pics of dad moles.
The heading If You Canbt Please Yourself,...etc, was taken from a well known compilation album release of early alternative electronica,
"If You Cant Please Yourself, Then You Cant Please Your Soul(rhymes with mole)
So thats what the thread was all about, cryptic? yes, concerned? yes,
But someone posted some trivial demeaning sh*t on the thread, and I saw no empathetic responses to the content, so decided to delete the thread as it was obviously either not interesting enough or too cryptic.
Funny how that stuff gets used by people to post snide remarks....
Anway, I found those moles and the other large trap, photographed them, and may well approach the "wildlife crime dept"(we do have such here in scotland) with the photographic evidence,
Some species still have a premium here, if the gamekeeper hands a foxes tail to the landowner, its worth a £5 or $10,
I dont think anything is paid for moles lol, but there is still morality and ethics involved.
There is a mink problem here in scotland though, and they are not an indiginous species, and have no natural predators,
When the bottom of the market fell out of fur thanks to naomi campbell and her crones, Most mink farmers(the average size being twenty thousand mink) just opened the cages and let them free,
The results have been catastrophic, with mink now inhabiting the territory of their previously persecuted to almost extinction species, the otter. The eat the salmon and trout in the rivers, as well as small rodents and birds,
The mink will also predate for fun, ....
ne way, Jo, there ya go............
