The problem with mole (s)
I seem to remember a blog recently that was like "if you can't please yourself you cant please your mole", but I can't find the thread. Anywho, I came across an article bit that I wanted to post. The web url is http://realestate.msn.com/Lawns/Article2.aspx?cp-documentid=6808010>1=35000

I hope this helps!

My favorite read was "making a ountain out of a mole hill".

Hey if artists aren't happy neither is their music.

I generally tend to leave animals be, as long as they mind their own business. However, if I HAD to get rid of some burrowing varmits, I favour the Carl Spackler method of using high explosives. Of course that does NOT please the moles.

If it were me, I would probably put a collar on the mole and name it fluffy or something.

If I could tame one, I'd buy it some corrective lenses and a fez- and name him Morocco.

OK, JO,
I originally posted the pictures to draw attention to the practise of animal cruelty, ie the inhumane trapping and destruction pf a fairly harmless and totally defenceless creature.
I found those two dead moles adjacent to a serious trap, which I believe may be large enough to trap and kill otters, a protected species,
Thats why I posted the pics of dad moles.
The heading If You Canbt Please Yourself,...etc, was taken from a well known compilation album release of early alternative electronica,
"If You Cant Please Yourself, Then You Cant Please Your Soul(rhymes with mole)
So thats what the thread was all about, cryptic? yes, concerned? yes,

But someone posted some trivial demeaning sh*t on the thread, and I saw no empathetic responses to the content, so decided to delete the thread as it was obviously either not interesting enough or too cryptic.
Funny how that stuff gets used by people to post snide remarks....

Anway, I found those moles and the other large trap, photographed them, and may well approach the "wildlife crime dept"(we do have such here in scotland) with the photographic evidence,
Some species still have a premium here, if the gamekeeper hands a foxes tail to the landowner, its worth a £5 or $10,
I dont think anything is paid for moles lol, but there is still morality and ethics involved.

There is a mink problem here in scotland though, and they are not an indiginous species, and have no natural predators,
When the bottom of the market fell out of fur thanks to naomi campbell and her crones, Most mink farmers(the average size being twenty thousand mink) just opened the cages and let them free,
The results have been catastrophic, with mink now inhabiting the territory of their previously persecuted to almost extinction species, the otter. The eat the salmon and trout in the rivers, as well as small rodents and birds,
The mink will also predate for fun, ....

ne way, Jo, there ya go............

Data Thieves,
I am actually relieved that you didn't kill any moles. The article I posted actually reviews the benefits of moles and the reasons why moles may be occupying property. I did not post it to be snide. But I thought, hey if someone is upset about moles maybe the article could give some aid that might also save the lives of the moles. Thanks for clarifying. Jo

Incidentally, the article has been removed because it was yesterdays headline on msn.

Last comment I promise..When I saw the moles you posted at first I thought you considered them your pets (I didn't realize they were dead). And then when I read that it was a trap I was a little taken back. I guess I was just trying to figure out what the blog was about and I was a bit confused.
