Hip-hop and jazz find themselves involved in an apocalyptic creative synergy, a mesmerizing convergence of power when Hood kicks off his creative process. He's here to restore the pure focus of music. “Everyday people who I come in contact with and share stories in my life are my inspiration, giving me something to write about.” The grounding of Hood's music in real people means that his music has a real draw and it's why Hood's destiny is pointing to the pinnacle.
The Artist at Work
Hood recently completed work on the music video for “Stay Phree,” a project he directed with his stepbrother Delmar. It is the latest testament to the unwavering dedication and focus of an artist whose talent has the power to shift the direction of hip-hop. He also has a new album on the way entitled “The Xperiment.” He is currently working with A&R Select, the leading indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
