Best time of year to post songs on IAC
When is the best time to post songs on IAC? I know I posted one song early in December and now that song is considered old. Maybe the best time to post songs is the beginning of the year so it has time? Any thoughts?

This strikes me as a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" type question.
I haven't been here a whole year so I don't know how seasonal the site is, but I suspect the best time is when you personally have time to 'promote' the song.

IMHO, the best time to post a song here is when the song is ready. Keep writing and keep posting :)

Well I posted a song in December so it is now too old for voting, under 5200....it only had a couple of weeks in 2007, so it makes me think that posting towards the end of the year might not be a great idea...post earlier in the year to give it time to get heard and be around before it is too old for competition......that's what I was thinking....I got a lot of songs done in December and I'm glad that most of them were posted late Dec or early January so they can have time to get around for 2008. I usually can't wait to get a new song up....
