Christian the Lion
This is a beautiful story....these 2 guys find a lion cub at Harrod's in London and buy it so they can get it out of that cramped cage, raise it for a year, then reintroduce it to the wild. I cry and cry everytime I watch it.

This footage, after the initial greeting, shows Christian with his pride of three female lions all sitting together with the two men and George...the rest of the pride accepted them as part of the family....and then it goes on to show Christian's parents, who are in a London zoo pacing back and forth in a cage.

Here is the interview Part 2. They got permission to return the lion to the wild and brought the lion to George Adams who reintroduced him to the wild. There are photos of the lion cub in a car, on a couch, very touching.

Here's another full video that has more footage of the lions in the wild and other stuff...it shows Christian with his full mane sitting with one of his babies...that was the last time they saw him; in 1974.
