A very strange thing happened...........
I got an angry email from an artist....a rapper. He was quite irrate. He said that he was checking his songs on music.finditt.com. What he said he saw was, my band pic and write up, with his album songs downloaded on my page. He was quite angry and said that he had contacted his lawyer regarding the issue and I had better respond and explain asap because action was going to be taken. First of all, I've never heard of music.finditt.com. Nor, have I ever heard of this rapper artist. I explained to him that I have my own album to promote and not to flatter himself. I was not interested in his music. I told him to save his lawyer fees and go to the admin people on the site and that it was obviously a glich.
I tried to find the page, but couldn't. It must have been quite a comical page though. My pic, with male rapper music. :-) What a combo................:-D I know I'm pretty versatile but that's really stretching it.
My music partner Tony downloads songs at different sites and then just forgets about them. He's a flash in the pan kind of guy. He can't even remember where he has downloaded the songs, much like his historical love life......................:-)
And me............I take the brunt........for his internet musical trampish behavior!

That's a strange one. Something similar happened to me waaaaay back on the old amp3.com. This was in the late 90's or maybe 2000. Anyway, somehow all the songs on my page got swapped with the songs from another artist. Imagine my horror seeing the first song on my page being "The Blayzeeng Pyg Shayver." I remember it happened right after I uploaded a new track. The page confirmed and all of a sudden my tracks were gone and somebody else's were there. To make it worse, the other guy whose page now had all my songs, deleted them all!
Ah well....

That's insane! I guess I can understand his dismay at seeing my face with his music. I don't mean to stereotype but I don't exactly look like a male rapper. LOL I couldn't help but see humor in it............along with my own frustration.
Well anyway, as an update, I woke up this morning to another email from the angry rapper guy. He's not so angry anymore. He emailed to apologize for jumping the gun..........the admin fixed it. We are friends now.........LOL
As for that Tony partner of mine, I warned him about wilkipedia..........and then I kicked his butt into the next universe for dumping the songs all over the net and not keeping track of what he has done...................
