New Station!! Looking for passionate...powerful....angry songs
Hi Everyone: I finally got my Honey Bear station up and running. I needed the perfect picture of my Honey Bear with her angry face.
So now, I will be filling the station up with passionate, powerful, angry songs. If you think you have a song that fits with this theme, please post here or in the shout box of the Honey Bear station.
The link is http://iacmusic.com/stations/KIAC4493.htm
Thanks, debbie

Hi Debbie - grrrrrufff!
You might find our song "Saturn" to be sufficiently powerful and passionate - and it's at least questioning if not actually angry! But it sure isn't mundane :)

Big bump to what Silverwood just posted.
The actual music of 'Valentine is not really what I would call angry but it is VERY passionate.
I was actually feeling angry, upset, heartbroken and teary eyed while I was writing and recording that song. It is about the emotions I was feeling from the split with the guy I thought at the time was the love of my life. I still very much loved him but he had fallen out of love with me and in love with my best friend!!
I had to stop between takes when I was playing the guitar solo parts because I was crying too much!!

Hi Deb, I thought 'Honey Bear' sounded much too sweet and cuddly to be the mascot for an 'angry' Station but now I've seen that little face and those teeth...grrrr!

Verity, Honey Bear is so very very sweet and cuddly most of the time. But she fears nothing! She is 90% mommy's little angel and 10% ferocious bear when she needs to be.
This is my Honey Bear when she is in angel mode... LOL (hope it works)

Hey!
I have some angry songs, I guess.
How about this one?:
"New Year's Eve"
Yeah, it's acoustic, but I was pretty full of angst and vinegar when I wrote it. Still gotta do the full-band thing, but, you know...
Hope you dig.
Thanks.

Well, here's a suggestion:
JEZEBEL
A song about a real person we really really dislike on so many levels. The middle part is really angry.
-excerpt:
Caustic words spit from your lips
You poison the air with your lungs
Toxin emits from your fingertips
And venom drips from your tongue
You scatter the demons you hold in your hand
You run with the hounds of Hell
Spreading your spite across the land
How many will fall to your spell?
Thanks for your consideration,
Stegor

Hi Debbie, Dirge's song 'Corkscrew' is very passionate and is about anger against herself and self harm as she tried to free herself of the pain of a broken relationship.

Hi Honey Bear - you could try out Love's facing Technology from The CODE for some angst on a global level, or Pay Attention! for a more personal observation!
Good luck with the new station!
