Rock Star quotes of the week....What about our words of wisdom?
I always read those "Rock Star" quotes of the week. Sometimes they can be pretty lame. I've heard some incredible words of wisdom coming from IAC artist bloggers.....funny things too that have kept me smiling all day long.

I would like to see some interesting words of wisdom, insightful thoughts or even comical quotes from the IAC artists, put up on the IAC Rock star quotes of the week.

We may not be "famous" but we are no less great and deserving.

Any insightful thoughts on this?

Yeah ...

We can make our own pearls of wisdom up in this thread and if there's something worthy ... IAC can stick it on the front page.

I'll start:

"Music makes the world go around. Well, that ... and when you've had too much to drink."

It's hard being a has-been who never was.

Hey TOmmy You know e-NOX & YOU are cool as fuck to me. SO, not to try and turn this back to a more SERIOUS note, but - If we really wanted to pull famous quotes from IAC Artists Just have somebody with too much time on their hands sit & scour the BLOGS for some of the great pearls of wisdom that have been dropped over the last 4 years on IAC.

I know there've been a NUMBER of great quotes =- In fact, I'll betcha loads of 'em will come from SAM, Hugh, Ray, Steve Ison & Anjuli, with a little research, eh? -pHLeGm

Richard!

"It's hard being a has-been who never was.

I tried to sell out, but nobody was buying!"

I laughed my ass off at that one. That's a line my Roger would've come out with!! Kept me smiling all day.

Deb - I'm happy for that reaction!
(I'm hoping to finish the song we spoke of within 2 to 3 weeks. The old assembly line is moving slower these days, but it will get done)

Richard I am so honored that you wrote that song. I can't wait to hear it. Please there is no rush. I understand how life can be brutal and all things come to a hault sometimes. I'm just so incredibly touched. deb

It's honor for me whenever I can write a song that touches people in a meaningful way. The holiday blues are long gone. I'm just perfecting the song before I post it. I hope it comes out as well as I want it to. I always go through a period of uncertainty just before I finish a song because one never knows if a song will sound as good in reality as it did in one's imagination. But I love being surprised and thrilled when the vocals are married to the words and that magical "X" factor appears that is bigger than the sum of the parts. Walking the tightrope between success and failure in a particular task is something I find very exciting.
