Topping the charts 3 yrs later.
My name is Guy Williams and I am the lead vox\writer for My Head Radio. MHR stopped making music, promoting, basically anything as far as MHR goes about 2 and 1/2 yrs ago. That being said, we are topping the rap\hiphop genre with two of our songs, Cease Fire at #3 and Fizz Bomb at #17 (both songs focus on me, CF is the only song I sing on and FB has no hook), something no one said we could do considering I am a poet and our music is centered around poetry. We are also climbing the electronic charts, about to break the top 100, with at least 5 other songs in the top 200.
All of this was accomplished by a band that never met, performed, or really promoted our music. I live in Detroit Michigan and the rest of the band is in Amsterdam, we never actually met. We were, however, finalists for numerous awards at the Detroit Music Awards 3 of the 4 years we participated. The point is that my style is something special and with the right people and attitudes behind a project, we would no doubt be number 3, but 1 2 3 4 and 5. Maybe that's an exaggeration, but it seems possible with the way my music charts with nothing put into it.
