Back pain...back pain...go away back pain...
Well, I have not been here much or anywhere else actually as I have had this pain in my upper back now for a few weeks which stops me from looking at the computer screen for anymore than a few minutes, so I have been avoiding it!! I also find it difficulty to drive, shave and a few other things that I will not mention here...anyway it is slowly improving, so we shall see, but for a while sleeping was not much fun at all with horrible ache down my right arm.
I did not need this as a few weeks ago we discovered a Termite infestation right behind my home studio, so it had to go and I am now sitting in front of my filing cabinet with my screen and keyboard on top...now I wish that I had a notebook!! Anyway, I will be back with new music as soon as I am well enough and the termite damage is fixed. I am not old yet, even if my body thinks I am....I will prove my body wrong!!
Ciao,
Vincenzo

Sorry to hear that, Vincenzo
The further along in life we get, the more odd things start happening to our bodies. But, it's better than the alternative of feeling nothing...isn't it?

Hey Vince, I am here to commiserate with you, buddy. I've been experiencing some pretty awful back pain myself, though mine is in the lower back and shoots down my right leg. I had a bulged disc about 20 years ago that took years to get better. But it finally did, and I was leading a regular active lifestyle once again. But then a few months ago I was doing something as simple as tying my shoe and bang! I bulged it again. I was doing exercises and getting better when a few days ago I sneezed and bang! again. It's not as bad as 20 years ago, but it's not fun.
Your back affects your whole body and your mood. It can be depressing if you tend towards those kinds of feelings.
Good for you for knowing that you can overcome this! I hope you're getting some help for it. Just watch your body mechanics and do some simple stretches and exercises that you can find online. You have a young spirit and that's important. Our bodies don't last forever, but hopefully our minds can stay young all our lives. I'm a firm believer in the power of music to aid in this.

Thanks Lyndan (I hope there aren't too many surprises like this one!), Chandra and Tom and sorry about your low back Tom...not a fun thing at all... I am off to Texas today, so I hope that my back is kind to me on the flight!!
Ciao,
Vincenzo
