Do you play IAC stations at your parties??
Like most people now days, I create long playlists from the music that I have stored on my PC and I let them play for hours during dinner parties etc.
Since I joined IAC however I find myself playing IAC stations. I think this is a great way of exposing my friends to new and fresh music while promoting IAC. Do all the other IACers to the same? I consider that I am relatively new here, so this topic may have come up many times before.
I would like to know your thoughts...May be we neet an application that will let us select multiple stations to play sequentially..

The station 'chain' sounds hip, V. I'm afraid I don't have parties. I do have a couple of friends over from time to time, and I'll play some of my stations. They have similar tastes and (like you say), it's a great way of introducing new music and artists.

I don't have parties either - but that station play thing is a great idea.
(Perhaps you need to give Steve and me cooking lessons so that we're more of a hit socially...)

I only have one Party Vincenzo ... but it NEVER stops ! ... and my stations play constantly along with a few others ...
... but sadly I'm usually the only one at the Party .. (except maybe a fly or two)... :)

To be totally honest ----if we have a party it's an oppurtunity to play "live ' or jam--
but---I was at a party just last week when I heard familiar music (muted) so I went a bit closer to the system, and it was iac music being played---we are converting New Zealand ---one person at a time!!

Sounds like you've got good friends Vincenzo. I can't get anyone interested in IAC. They all say "sounds good" -- and never check in again.

Oh...Did I mention that all my friends wear hearing aids....
...Just kidding!! We just have to keep playing IAC and we will eventually convert the world to IAC!!, but we definitely need the Station senquencer, so we can play IAC for hours and hours...
Bruce, you don't need cooking lessons, keep it simple, don't overcook the pasta have plenty of beer & wine, IAC in the background and you will have great parties!!
Sam, a continuous party sounds great!!! but I think I am getting a little too old for that. Let's stick to once or twice a week shall we..

Titania,
you should try and come here when we have a NYE party, unfortunately I am not sure when the next one will be as we will be away next NYE...We had one last year and it was a blast!! Well..for us oldies anyway..we get tired early in the night, so everyone went home early about 3:00am..The fireworks from our deck are absolutely incredible!!
Now bloggers, I am getting a little concerned as I thought I would get a lot more interest in this blog than I got..
Does it mean that not too many IACers have friends over, or a lot of IACers don't want to tell us that they don't play IAC stations when they do have people over??
I hope is neither...

Well Vincenzo, I can only speak for myself, but I'm a very boring, solitary curmudgeon who only has friends over on occasion. Even my imaginary friends don't visit very often. However, we DO listen to my IAC stations, as well as some others I've heard. I'm lucky that my friends, like me, enjoy a variety of different styles of music and there is a rich diversity here.
