I woke up on Friday the 13th and could not find my wallet
On thursday the 12th, after having been to a very confusing session at the Chinese visa office, trying to figure out on which type of visa we needed, I came home and got changed into more comfortable clothes. I noticed a little later that my wallet was not in my pocket, but I thought I had left it upstairs when I got changed so I did not worry, and forgot all about it.
I woke up oh Friday the 13th, got dressed and when I went to put my wallet in my pocket I could not find it!!! looked everywhere, so remembering that it was not in my pocket the afternoon before I called the Credit card companies and cancelled my cards.
A few minutes later I got my thoughts together and realized that I had it when I was sitting on the chair watching some TV show the night before, and put it alongside me...and there it was on the chair....
So now I have no credit cards for a few days, but I guess it is probably a good thing!! I am not superstitious, but strange things happen to me on Friday the 13th....

Vincenzo:
So much for Friday the thirteenth.
I've always said that a guy can count on one hand the the number of days that go perfectly and yesterday was one of them.
I worked on six different oil pump jacks yesterday, spread out over fifty or sixty miles. Everything went so smoothly. It took about nine hours, but the client said they expected twelve hours and would pay for twelve anyway.
When I got home my wife announced that she had bought the most expensive steak she could find for my supper (that's a first!).
When I checked my email Ray Porter had finished his interview with me and asked me to post it on my page.
I wish it could be Friday the thirteenth every day :-))))))))

Wohhh Terry,
If I had worked on Six oil pump jacks I would need a good steak too!! Good on you Terry, I was wondering how the oil jack business was going for you. It sounds like you are doing very well. Talking about steaks, if you ever get to Tuscany, make sure you have a chargrilled 'Bistecca alla fiorentina'. That is a big florentine rib eye. I think John Pippus had one, last time he was in Italy. You obviously had a good Friday the 13th as well. I can't tell you how relieved I was to find my wallet. Drivers license etc.
Have fun and don't forget to keep writing songs!!

Wow, I hate stuff like that. I left a credit card at CVS, got home...realized it was gone...thought a bit then called CVS before I cancelled the card.
I went street performing on Friday the 13th, a jazz band had the spot I wanted, I went to another spot, a resident came down and complained so I had to move down the street; moved in front of an ice cream shop but did not make a dime there. The thing was I met a new friend and jammed with him...Street performing is hard...
