OK... The Monkey is BACK!
Hello, friends - I've been off on a different planet for a while but am gradually getting back to the early ruffs that have been stewing for the last few months. These will make up my 2008 collection, 'Distractions in Action'.
Here's a taster - first of the new crop: While Rome Burns, a meditation on banality, vacuity and celebrity - all, of course, with a big chorus you can sing along with.
As ever, ENJOY, and feel free to let me know what you think.

"I want a Botox shot- I want a poisoned face."
I'm really enjoying this song, Vince. The music is great, and the lyrics take a nice poke at the 'media darlings'. The vocal layering is top-notch. It's definitely good to have you back.

As advertised Vince... a singalong chorus and fun, fun, fun... (I know it's serious, but it's a fun tune).. well done and you've given me at least two station ideas with this tune...
Now to find the time...
A perfect song for a Happy Independence Day.

Hey, Glenn - as Brit in the US, I prefer to think of it as "giving back the colonies" day... :o)
Thanks for the feedback!

ah yeah, that's great! cool song 8-)
and your meaningful lyrics
"I want the botox shot, I want a poisoned face"
are in line with our singer Seline's criticism of cosmetic surgery in "Botox"
many greetings from Switzerland
