Kim Morrison is proud to announce the formation of her new Production Company K-Mo Productions. In one way or another, Kim has been producing her entire career. She has Produced all of her Writer's Demos, Co-Produced or Produced all of her Artist Masters and she has had the good fortune to Produce several other Artists such as Johnny Lee.
She has had the honor to work with so many extremely talented Producers such as Barry Becket, Richard Landis, Miles Copeland, Buddy Killen, Jerry Kennedy, Nelson Larkin, Rickey Skaggs, Peter Wolf, (J. GeIls Band,) Al Kooper, Rick hall and Mike Lawler just to name a few. She has worked as a background Singer with such greats as Ray Charles, Leon Russell, Hank Williams JR., Tammy Wynnette, Sam Moore (Sam and Dave,) Isaac Hayes, Billy Preston, T. Graham Brown, Percy Sledge, Johnny Winter, Dickie Betts, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Johnny Lee, Odetta, Lynnard Skynnard, Billy Joe Royal, Billy Burnette, Dale Hawkins, Jeannie C. Riley, Michael McDonald, Peabo Bryson, James Ingram, Loleata Holloway, Dorothy Moore, Dorothy Norwood, Marshall Chapman, Leslie Satcher, Sammy Kershaw, Dr. Hook, Dolly Parton, and the list goes on.
As a songwriter, she has had songs recorded by Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, Ty Herndon, Keith Whitley, Mel Tillis, Conway Twitty, Mickey Gilley, Irma Thomas, Dickie Betts, Johnny Adams, John Verity, Frank Sinatra Jr. and many more.
Kim has had several deals as an Artist herself including Mercury Records and Jet Records. She has years of experience as a vocal Coach. She puts an emphasis on combining classical vocal techniques with commercial music to get the best-feeling vocal performance possible from the Artists she works with.
She has formed relationships with some of the best musicians in the world. Kim has worked with such players as Buddy Emmons, Buddy Spicher, Jimmy Horn, Brent Mason, Warren Haynes, Victor Wooten, Larry London, Larry Knechtel, Dickie Betts, Billy Preston, The Bar Kays Rhythm Section, The Memphis Horns, Larry Byrum, and countless others.
As a long-time resident in the Nashville music Community, she has access to some of the best Studios, Engineers, Mastering Labs, Players, Singers and Songs in the Business. Kim can offer professional assistance on all levels of music Production from song selection to final mix and mastering and she can handle anything from a Guitar/Piano/Vocal Demo to Major Label Recordings.
