DMD CD Sales
A listener has purchased a DMD CD from my page, gone through the Google Checkout, had the funds deducted from him bank account and has not received a link to download......He purchased it TWO DAYS AGO!
And before anyone bitches me out about asking a technical question here.....I would NOT do so, if tech support would ever answer any emails I send them!
This is the first DMD I have put up and so maybe I don't know how it works....but I have read the FAQ and it would seem that he should have a download link by this time.
TIA

Hi Texas Willie,
Good to hear that you've had a sale via IAC's DMD medium, I'm considering using that service when I'm ready - It looks excellent.
I wonder if the unacceptable delay (and such delay is unacceptable for any purchase) is down to Google rather than IAC.
I'll certainly want to know who's responsible before deciding to use the DMD service here. Thanks for sharing this info.
Best from RR

No problem RR.....The really annoying thing about this is the fact that I put the DMD together on Special Request and now it makes me look like I was just trying to rip him off!...NOT good!
Whatever the problem is.....it needs to be FIXED!

Have you tried emailing support@iacmusic.com?
My experience is that they're pretty quick to respond.

Good Luck with the techno stuff TW - I prefer the old day's when you walked into a shop, picked CD, paid, listened to in the car on the way home!
Seems like you cannot beat a hard copy!!!
Would be nice to clear up the trail though???

Can't disagree with that!
"Would be nice to clear up the trail though???"
Or that either!

Texas Willie. I just checked the dedicated support box at iacsupporthotline@gmail.com which is the mail that is listed on both artist and pipeline administration pages, compared it to your Email and there was nothing from you in there for the last several weeks. There were 3 other Bills or Williams though but all their inquiries were answered of course.
We take PRIDE in our dedicated support dept and I'm guessing you didn't use this Email address or you're having Email difficulties because there's no way otherwise that our dedicated support hotline was emailed several times by anyone without a response. Bam Singh and others look at it a number of times every day.
In addition I've posted my personal IAC email iacmusic@aol.com several times and you can always write me if for some reason your Emails are not being processed thru google mail.
Anyway the bottom line is, and this isn't directed at you Willie but everyone, we're awaiting some new moderation options and since our wishes are so often ignored in this regards (everybody has a good reason), soon support issues posted on the pipeline will automatically be moved off the front page.
I'm going to send your DMD issue to support. It's true what somebody said, the various services often have a lag time before the transactions go through. We've even had cases where the recipient had their spam blocker at such a high setting that the only Emails the person was receiving was from his mom and the IRS. :D

Thank You so Much for the answer Todd!....The email address that I have for support is: support@iacmusic.com. That is the address that previous support questions had been answered by.....so, I don't know why there are two email addresses. But I will change it in my address book right now.
The person who purchased the DMD has purchased from me before through Google Check out and has not had any problem with doing so.....Even though the process was not immediate (as I think it should be), he was provided with a link in about 2 hours......Two days is NOT acceptable....
I hope someone can track down the problem and get it resolved soon.....Credibility is an important issue at this point.
Thanks Again, I really appreciate your repsonse!

First oops on the oops......lol.
Secondly A HUGE THANK YOU TO DAVE WALTON for his email reply to me. He has restored my faith! And I once again feel blessed to be associated with the very fine people here!
IAC has bent over backwards for me and I cannot tell you how much that is appreciated......My poor words will never be able to convey just how grateful I am!
Thank You IAC!, Todd (aka Toby), Dave and all the Members Too!
