Janis Joplin
Today would have been Janis's 65th birthday. I am sure she is still rocking in the spirit world. ROCK ON Janis.

Amen. We probably WON'T see her kind again. At least not if 'the suits' have anything to say about it. She was a beautiful soul, with the love for the music, and energetic expression in her voice. RIP

I believe Janis along with Jimi and a few others were placed on this earth by aliens to change our culture for the better. It was a direct intervention.

Either by aliens, or by god, or by the laws of karma or the forces of nature or the power of our collective thoughts, whatever, they certainly provided us all with the chance to learn from their amazing gifts!

Janis truly took a piece of my heart .... but left much more.... it's hard to believe she has been gone so long ....

And Richard Nixon may well have had Hendrix and Janis killed. It's not hard to give bad drugs to somebody who would ingest or shoot up anything any person on the street gave them.

Take it as a compliment, I was gonna put on my station that DirgeK had a little bit of that Janis Joplin "soul" in her singing...I think I will now.
