It was just one of those days.
Though I don't mind working alone, as I do, I've been in search of a bass player to work with for quite some time. That and a drummer. Fate stepped in a little while back, and I happened upon a bass-player, for whom playing is like breathing. His musical taste are as varied and often strange as my own. We clicked immediately, deciding to collaborate on somethings. Sadly, the bass player is a homeless man. A park bench is his home. All of his belongings he carried around in a suitcase.

Being a struggling musician myself; I can't provide him with a home--especially since I have a roommate who wouldn't go for that .... Still, he does at least have a roof over his head, whenever we get together to work on something.

As bad luck would have it, a couple of nights ago, as he lay sleeping, someone made off with his bass. It hurts to watch a grown man cry like a baby, but I know what he was feeling. Even though life hasn't been treating him very well, of late, if he had nothing else, Tommy had his music. Simply playing brings him so much joy. Now, he feels as if he's gasping for every breath. It's as if the person who stole his bass, ran off with the air that he breathes.

I'm hoping to help him get another bass to play--and do what I can to assist him in finding a home. And should you take a notion, a download of "Monday Morning" and/or "Sunday Morning" will as well go to the cause.

Download a copy today ... Help a man who has fallen down to get back up on his feet. If you were in his shoes, would it not be your hope that someone else would do the same for you? May you never know what it's like to be in such a position.

Enjoy

Ah, but I think I can hear that old bass playing right now....no hang on, it was just a violin :) Hope you got a sense of humor despite this sad story, there are some pretty mean *&^%$s in this world. Good luck with the download thing - V

I hope your friend finds another bass to play - he's a real good player! We're glad to help just a little bit from here in the beautiful hills of Wales...

That's a shame about the bass being stolen. Did you check the pawn shops?

I had a listen to your music........it's very good.
