Yesterday Bob Elliot told us the story behind his unusual photo. Then I asked Steve Ison about his picture.
Coincidentally, it was the 5 yr. to the day, anniversary of that photo. Spooky. What’s the story behind your picture?
That picture of me playing guitar in the cowboy hat. Was taken while on stage with FUJI MINX at the Miss Asia-American Beauty Pageant 2007. At the Alex Theater in Glendale Ca. It was a cool gig for us. It was televised
to over 1 million homes. It felt like I imagined the old Ed Sullivan Show must have been like. Dancers, colorful customs, girls running around half undressed, all sharing dressing rooms. Plus the pressure to have everybody go on stage on time. Great fun, and a great memory for me.
