' I don't care if I never never get back '
i love how sam is vast becoming the pervy cartoon character always lurking in the background taking notes or perhaps touching himself in inappropriate areas
No offense to those suffering from allergies, but personally it would be a sad day when one can't go to the ball park and get peanuts... and hot dogs... and beer... and mustard pretzels... and toilet paper stuck to ones shoes... and grumpy old men talking about the good old days of baseball and how these young punk kids don't get the meaning of the game nowadays... and of course, the secret plastic prize inside which now consists of a rubber and miniature can of spam
mmm spam

Hi John,
If anybody would know the answer to this question, you would. I can see that the background photos you use to do your ingenius and hilarious composite pics are old "stock pics" that are license free. If you used a modern known picture but put different faces on all the persons in the pic is it copytright infringement? To use a silly example, if you took the a pic of the Mona Lisa and put a different face on it, is it legal to put that on the internet if no one is making money from it?
Happy 4th to all!

Well Richard, when I googled THE MONA LISA about 1/2 a doz. paradies of her came up. So I'm guessing public domain on the classics.

Hey, that's not nice John! I can't even delete it from my page. I should have given a more modern example, like taking recent pics of famous album covers and putting IAC'ers faces in them. I was going to surprise you with my own attempt at photoshop. Now I just feel stupid!

Who could be mad at you, John? It's an honor to be a victim of your genius humor, but it does provide fodder for people who aren't as fond of me as you are. My idea was to take the cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band and put as many different IAC faces on the bodies as possible.

|

I expect that would be infringement, but I also expect no one will care.

What a masterpiece. The Mallard Lisa.
Incidentally Richard, you should consider that Mona Lisa treatment for your artist pic, it softens your features. :~D

I thought we reached a detente, Fly. You're more entertaining when you show your intellect rather than getting personal.

You're right, Fly, but I felt that I was very restrained in my response. If I got personal, you might cry. But that's not my objective here. I would choose my words more carefully and I did but I will lighten up as you suggest and I hope our detente continues. I said your intellectualism was entertaining. That was a compliment. I'm still reeling from your Bozo essay!
