New Western Civ album produced by Mitch Easter (REM, Pavement, Superchunk) due out this Fall!!
We are all starting to get really excited about the new album titled, "Shower the People You Love With Gold." which is due to be released this Fall! The album is being produced by veteran producer and engineer Mitch Easter known for his work with bands like REM, Superchunk, Pavement, Birds of Avalon, Squirrel Nut Zippers and too many more to list! The tracking is completed and mixing will be finished later this month!
CMJ blast had reported the upcoming project and The Fans of Left of Center facebook newsletter said, "You will want to be able to say that you were listening to them (Western Civ) before they were everyone's favorite band!"
The support for this project has really overwhelmed us all and we can not wait to share it with you all!!
In the mean time, the previous album has been getting an increasing amount of radio play on stations in the US, Canada and the UK! That 2007 release titled, "Remington Steel Magnolia" is available for purchase at over 30 online distributors as well as a host of indie record shops.
I'll keep you updated on the release schedule as we move forward!
