So were you impressed?
By my song upload that i is.
Didn't get any comment (or even many reads) on the first thread so I thougt a more contrversial subject title might help... ;-)
The song is Called Holding These Feelings and was recorded with my Band Burnt Ice last month, just got the masters back the other day. we recorded 6 more tracks the best 5 of which will be released on a new EP in the near future.

Sounds pretty groovy to me, some hints of R Cray in the overall feel, so thats impressive :)
I'm not surprised at the lack of response though, I usually get more feedback from a middle american desperate housewives board than I do on here :)
Should do well though, have you tried circulating this around some of the bbc regions?
I'm sure Satch Norton did some effective promo in that direction

Robert Cray is definetly one of my influences, so it's a complement that you noticed the robert crayish undercurent to the song. The acoutsic starting point point from the song had a bit of a latin feel to it as well but that seems to have evolved out in favour of the more blues rock feel.
I'm going to send it out for review at various magazines once it's properly packaged but hadn't thought to far about sending it to refiobnal radio stations that's agood idea!

Nice groove ... Even though I like all kinds of music, Blues is always at the top of my listening preference ... and you do it so well, that it's a given, when you post something I'm going to enjoy it Andy ... Love your solo stuff, but also enjoy hearing the band ... nice

Yeah why not? The track as is is mixed for the EP but, no reason I can't do an IAC remix.

Dude....... your vocals I swear are dead on Norton Buffalo! He's one of the greats that has passed on in the last couple of years. Played harp for Steve Miller for a lot of years.
This new tune of yours has the style and feel right off one of his CDs! Go on YT and check out some of his stuff (King of the Hwy CD)

Hi Duane, I checked out the Norton Buffalo on youtube, great harp player, to be honest I could hear the resemblance on the tracks I watched. You got any direct links?
