I'll just hang around until somebody talks to me.........Maybe you've all been brought up in the "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything" generation......But I would honestly appreciate a bit of feedback...just so I can make whatever changes might be deemed needed.

Nope.....referring to yourself in the third person, tickling yourself with tomatoes, foaming at the mouth and passing palm tree shaped stools are all much more serious and indicative symptoms that you are losing it!!!

though Mark does find tomatoes makes him laugh.....some of the jokes they tell are a bit too rude to repeat here unfortunately.

Mark:
I like this song. As I said before your music seems very natural to me. Not contrived or forced. It just comes out the way it should.
I'd play bass for you guys in a second -- I think potential is there for even greater things.
I feel weird criticizing your music cuz I think your performing is better than mine.
But you asked, so I'm telling you straight up I'd improve this number by phrasing the lead guitar with more dynamic -- there's too many eight notes all played out evenly. Get in a little speed here and there and learn to go in and out on the offbeats too. Think it out in your head and then find it on the guitar if you have too. Does that help, I'm not trying to be an expert here or anything?
Now you have to leave a criticism of one of my toonz! Seriously!! Just reply in this blog.

I would be the list qualified to give anybody critiques or opinions, but since you ask here it is:
I like the song, it has a good pace and I love the drums!!! Can I borrow the drummer sometime??
I think there is potential here for something better. My main feeling is that the vocals need to be stronger, sharper and may be more rehearsed. I don't hear the confidence that this piece requires in the vocals. You can certainly do the job, just work a little more and this will be a really good piece!!
As Terry above, you can critique my stuff anytime!!!

I don't know Vincenzo< I like the natural vocals.
Maybe we should leave these guys alone to make their own music. they seem to be doing a good enough job without our "help".
(and don't argue or I'll start calling you Vince)
Gotta go t band practice now. Let's talk more later.

You are probably 100 percent correct!! They already do very well without our help. Too many cooks spoil the broth!! At the end it comes down to:
We either like something or we don't. If we don't like something, no amount of changes are going to make us like it and if we ask a committee we will end up with a camel. So I like it!! the rest is irrelevant, and entirely up to you guys. You know when you are happy with the piece and when you consider it finished!!
Keep up the good work,
Vincenzo

HI there.
Thought I'd put in my 2 sense wirth.
I really like the feel and approach.A really nice rockin groove thang.
I know we sometimes dislike comparisons but you guys remind me a lot of Urge Overkill who were waycool.
I also agree with Vincenzo on the need to do some more takes on the vocals. If I were producing you guys that would be the only thing I would push you on.
And I also agree with letting you do what you feel is best most of all.
I also would like feedback on my stuff so for anyone who's willing...

Thank you one and all for your contributions. FirstlyI don't really think of your comments as criticism, more like collaberating with other musicians.
I have taken all of your suggestions on board,.
Yeah I agree the vocals are a bit rough, I recorded them very early on when I had just written the song. I've sang it probably 30 or 40 times now and I think it has improved a bit so I'll give it another go soon, (lucky I record at home).
Vincenzo, Thanks for the compliments on my drum arrangements. You can buy the drum loops I used on that track from "beta music monkey" They're not bad to work with, you have to have a bit of patience, but you can get a decent result.
Silverwood, Cheers guys I enjoy your stuff too we're practically neighboursdown here at the bottom of the world. If you like the stop start type songs keep you're ears open over the next few weeks, I'll be uploading a song called "For the children" which could be right up your alley.
Terry, Mate if you didn't live a million miles away I'd take you up on that bass playing offer, boy it's hard to find one here. I appreciate the feedback, not to make excuses but I sorta landed in the lead guitar role and I'm not entirely comfortable there yet, but as they say (whoever they are) practice makes perfect, I might try that, practice I mean. Gotta stay away from these blogs they're killing me.
Jack Heinicke, Urge overkill you say, you are too kind, I'll have to check them out, they better not be some piano accordian band or something cause I'll be shattered....LOL....
