Tunings
I've been reading about recording at A444 (528=c) instead of A440. Honestly, I don't know why I hadn't thought about it till now. I know that performers have various tuning preferences especially on string instruments, but never considered altering the entire digital recording. Does anyone do this or listen to artists that do, or have any opinions about it?

haha - way to start an insightful discussion, Chandra ...... actually with all your music incorporating other cultures and styles, I was thinking maybe you had run into this at some point. I'm pretty sure some African instruments don't tune to the traditional Western scale and frequencies

Wow! I have never heard of this. There was no mention of it in Recording Eng. school a few years back. Very interesting. I would also like to hear about others experience with it.
Respect,
