New Song/Dance
So neither one of us at Shoe City Sound are of Native American heritage - just both have always felt really connected to it and so aware that we live in The Wampanoag Nation vs Brockton MA. The tradition is to have medicine songs and dances to engage the Great Spirit and get help. So this is meant to be a dance to find our way in the unbelievable and surreal change we're all experiencing now. It's just beats and mantra type words that go on and on till the dance is done.

Wow! I thought I was listening to Debbie Harry! Great track, cool vocals and groovy
concept. (I'm trying to bring back the word "groovy" again. But I promise not to bring back "far out".) Some phrases should stay obsolete! But this song will never be obsolete because change is the essence of life. Kudos to Delores and all involved.

Well I'm a terrible dancer just ask my wife ha ha but this song makes me want to try to do the rain dance of change. Lord knows we could use some positive change.
One does not have to be native american to have a connection to native american beliefs and symbolism.
I spent many years doing spirit walks as a shaman. I don't do that anymore as one day evil spirits attacked me. That's all I want to say about that.
Nice vocal treatment. I'm glad to hear that you pushed your vocals a bit more forward on this track.
Its groovy!!! It makes you want to move or sway. Makes me want to beat on jungle drums and join in the fun.

Thanks so much you guys! I'm proud to have brought the term "groovy" to mind! Richard, thanks for the Deborah Harry comparison - I'm flattered! I love her. I always thought she was so cool for her song "Rapture" which I think was at the start of rap along with Grand Master Flash way back when. Ken, weird you should mention your walks and why you quit doing them. I have recently been going through a negative energy (that isn't mine) situation - so glad that's over. And if you felt like you wanted to join the drum circle (in our case faux drums haha) then maybe the medicine is working :)
Love from the Wampanoag Nation

Wonderful work Dolores beautiful singing sweet elements throughout compelling and inspiring and acknowledging first nations . We live in the first nation territory of the semiahmoo peoples tribe and nation here in White Rock BC. There are many more first nation indigenous peoples in and around this province hundreds so a nod in respect to them all
