Started a new station Peace because of your song. I have been experimenting with ambient music for donkeys. Try out Brian Eno Thursday afternoon, is one of my favs. My earliest was with a Revox A77 which gave taped based delay and feedback you could almost get like whales sounds out of it. I was using a Kawai K1 still got it and a 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 bass i did play in bands at that time i used the channel 1 into 2 and pumping up the gain trick. Wonder what happened to that bass?. I had no idea what i was doing or who it worked. I just thought it sounded good at the time. I still have the original reel to reel tape but nothing to play it on. So if anyone else wants to be in Peace the station drop a link.

I have been tidying up my stations trying to get some semblence of order. They have become massive dating back over a decade. So peace will only have 10 tracks so it,s more like an album. Not like a radio station which has it,s own charm.
I am wondering what it would sound like as well. I do remember i sent a copy to John Peel. Wether he played it or not sure he would have thousands of Bands and artists sending him music. The thing about ambient music it does not have to conform to the norm and the dreaded 8 notes and variations of those 8 notes. Ambient is based on the usage of tech to create alternate atmospheres
