A Little Less Rock ...
Hi everyone!
I hope that the week went well for everyone out there as things are quickly moving along in the Saints camp. As time is of the essence, I'm not going to dilly-dally and I'll just get right down to it.
This past week proved to be another productive one for us as we have gotten a couple of jams in and a million little administrative things taken care of. We're plowing forward in catching LaVonne up and starting to adjust to our new temporary jam space. Again, a million thanks to Kate (Euro's roommate) for giving us a chance to jam in their basement as I'm sure she is getting quite sick of the couple of songs that we've been working on for the last couple of weeks.
A huge congratulations to our very own Stroker who is now finally kidney stone free! After a procedure this past Friday, he is still feeling a little tender, but will be back and jamming with us in no time. This has been a multiple year ordeal for our four string killer and everyone in the Saints camp is beyond excited to have him back in the fold and soon to be as good as new.
We're back to work again tomorrow (Tuesday) and about to have a big-old sit down to talk about show-readiness. As you've heard from us a million times before, the last thing that we want is to jump the gun (anxious as we are) and get back out there before we are ready. After a wait of this length, you guys deserve better! As always, if you have any questions, comments, or anything at all that you want to get in touch with us about, you can do so at mercenarysaints@yahoo.ca.
And now .. the ever famous 3 things I've learned this week:
1. Despite my exceptional ability to be tactful (sic), sometimes the phrase "Good luck with that" just won't do.
2. 41 hours without food and 5 pints make for an interesting evening ...
3. And I quote: "If you don't like the shoes, [you can] go to hell.
