Our Bulletin Posted 2-17-08 on our MySpace
Hello to all of our loyal friends. We wish to take this time to thank each and every one of you for your support of this music project and also for taking the time to read this bulletin.

Since our membership here at MySpace, many things have happened that are beneficial to the promotion of this band, and MySpace has served us well. However, Kings Of Crisis Band through marketing efforts went in search of web portals that would help promote our music not only from a fan base perspective, but also a focus towards an Independent Artists Community.

After months of searching we have found just what we were looking for. By invitation from one of this companies principals, we joined IAC (Independent Artists Company) located at www.iacmusic.com. Our personal site at IAC is iacmusic.com/artist.aspx?id=89268.

We have many friends at MySpace and would like to invite each and everyone to visit our latest web presence at IAC. To ALL of our musician/band friends however, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND you surf over to IAC at your earliest convenience and check them out. It WILL be well worth your time and you should soon see the benefits of doing so. They offer a more targeted approach toward the Indie community.

We (Kings Of Crisis) would also like to invite everyone to our official website at www.kingsofcrisis.com. There, we offer our true fans an opportunity to join our forum where you can interact with the members, get the latest show information, learn the "behind the scenes", participate in polls and surveys and many other benefits we offer that we do not provide at our MySpace account. Your membership at our official site is the place for you to have input on/about our band! We offer you the opportunity to get to know us on a more personal level.

In closing we would like to hear from everyone who reads this bulletin, especially if you’re a band. Let us know what other web portal you may have discovered that you feel is helping promote your band. We thank everyone for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this bulletin.

Regards,
Kings Of Crisis Band

That was the best use of a My Space bulletin I've ever seen. :D

....I think it's great that you are networking so broadly. However, it would be a good idea to also provide a MySpace link on your IAC Artist's page. Personally I use both IAC and MySpace fairly equally and for different reasons.

These various portals offer different things to different people and I think that the less there is of the 'Us versus Them' mentality, the better it is for all.

Hey Ric,
Welcome to you and your bandmates. IAC is the indy commuity of choice. You will find lots of freindy folks with good advice and honest opinions. I really enjoy this site. I also use myspace for my promotion.

If you want to spread the word of your music these ar a few sites you may want to consider in no order.

www.unsigned.com
www.noisehead.com
www.showcaseyourmusic.com

IAC and myspace have been the best for me but I also have pages on these sites.
I tried garageband but it was a joke not recommended by me.

Glad to see you have joined. Hope to see you around the pipeline.

Ken
