Here is "Peach"
Peach is a song I wrote long ago. We used to do it in The Pawns. But now I redid it on solo acoustic to go on this demo of my solo stuff that I've been working on for eternity (and which "Peach" may be the finishing touch).
Watchoo tink?

Check out Bob's song:
Peach
I'm running out of superlatives to describe Bob's voice. He could sing the phone book and make it sound cool. I love the guitar work on this song too. Overall, this is a really good song.

I think that Richard pretty much nails it: your voice is pure magic, Bob. Your voice automatically puts this song above most other songs by most other folks anywhere.

Well said, Todd. Your comments made me want to follow up. I think that in the hands of the right producer, with the right musicians, with Bob singing his own songs, he could get a lucrative recording deal. I don't say this kind of thing about many people and may I add that I'm envious as hell that I can't sing like that!!!! But I don't let my envy get in the way of giving credit where credit is due.
And BTW, Todd your new CD isn't exactly chopped liver either. It's more like a great pastrami sandwhich from a great NYC deli! Very tasty!!!

Thanks so much.
It is very gratifying to give some of my old songs a new life. I mean, I have much material from the days when my singing always made me not want to put the recordings very public, and there was no public place to put them.
But this recording, I think, comes from having faced the brick wall of trying to do an acoustic demo of about 14 songs. Two years later, I've changed a lot. I knew it would be kind of tough, but damn. When I started out, I went months with nothing I thought was a take, and finally in this last month or so I got 8, so I think the whole process really helped me get a handle on my voice more.
But I'll be glad to get back to dubbing like a mad man. Didn't
t think it would take quite this long.
But thanks guys, it made my day...

I remember your rocked out version of this, and I've got to say, this version has much more soul. It's more personal and sweet. Sweet like a peach. Your guitar work has just gotten so good in recent years too.
