I like that a lot Bob. Great Vocals and the instrumentation is awesome. Kinda Reggae Kinda not. I like the timbre of your voice. Very unique.
Much Respect,

There's a light ethereal feeling that abounds in the all aspects of the song from the universality of the lyrics to the uniqueness of the vocals The music is catchy and familiar without being derivative.
The bass and drums invite more scrutiny because they are unnecessarily dominant. If they were more
structured they would help carry the song more than they do now.
I love the guitar sound and I wish it were a little louder in the mix. One last thing: When you have a "one of a kind" voice, show it off. Bring it up in the mix! It can still be subtle and nuanced, but if it can't be heard it can't be appreciated and the meaningful lyrics can't be dug if they're buried. In my humble opinion, this is not yet a finished work but a promising one.

I like your lyrics, but your melody sounds like you didn't put that much work into it. It's a nice jam, but I think it could be a stronger song with an actual bass line. For me, the bass groove doesn't do it. Not this one.

Seriously, I want to record with you, Bob.
It's a lot different from most of the other stuff I've heard of yours. This is very early-80's. But in a good way.
I love this. Nice work.

I've got to say that after just one listen, the song is still in my head a week later. That is a very good sign.
