Elements
Poetic sense of Pablo Neruda
chord sense of standards
arranging sense of Bacharach
melodic sense of Bacharach
Groove sense of hip hop
relax-play instruments gently, sing relaxed
don't go after notes you shouldn't be singing
analog synth sounds
acoustic piano, and acoustic guitar
real drums mixed with machine drums
more space than you ever used before. let elements take turns and weave around each other

Space is a element I love to use. more so in ambient and interpretive music, but also in classical instrumentals . I can play really fast and furious in jazz works, although the best thing I dig the most is doing live recordings. just me. that is when I am in my own element. I love the opportunity to play live on a grand piano, magical moments

The composition and structure of a good piece of music is like an architect designing and making a building to be constructed. a good foundation, solid structure. decorative parts, the way it looks, the flow, the interpretative qualities. this is a good way Bob has presented the subject of Elements and giving examples of styles and descriptions in his above post , the elements of music and the various parts that are involved to make it work well.

Well, these are the elements I'm trying to work with now.
Not that I'm qualified to bring all I listed, but these are the elements affecting my work.
