Our Last Album: "Tom O'Brien and the Pawns-The Long Awaited Return" is Now Streaming Everywhere
If you (like me and so many others now) listen to most of your music through a streaming service like iTunes or Napster or Rhapsody or Spotify etc., you can now stream the album The Pawns did with Tom O'Brien called "The Long Awaited Return."
The album is also here on my page and Tom's Page (though Tom's page is hard to search for here since apostrophes throw the search engine for a loop).
Anyway, I know lots of us stream lots of stuff from these services, and I want you to know I just saw today that Tom has that thing streaming digitally, so it'll be worldwide.
This album is killer no filler. Not just talking here, killer no filler.
There is another artist named Tom O'Brien, but if you want to reach our album search for either "Tom O'Brien and The Pawns" or the album title: "The Long Awaited Return" (which is funny because no one was waiting and we didn't return, but it is the title of a very cool song on the album).
This album will bring a mood and hold it for you throughout. Thanks for your time.

I know it comes up on itunes under those names, Napster seems to only show it if you type the title of the album. He used CD Baby to distribute, so if your service doesn't show it yet, it soon will because CD Baby gets your stuff out to everyone.

It's good to get exposure anywhere you can, of course. I will say that I've looked into various services in regards to 2 absolutely amazing records I've been part of this year, that is, The Coming of Age (self-titled) and Negative Tendencies (self-titled) and I might have something to report back soon about this one free service I joined that will get Neg Tendencies on all the sites. I gotta say though, I couldn't be more pleased with streaming the record on IMP. I just put down this link and hundreds have heard the entire album. I'd add that the IMP DMD is the coolest digital CD package out there by far, it's the only one that even attempts to recreate the vibe you get when you used to buy an album and you would look at the cover, read the booklets and extras that were contained within.
I tried CD Baby for mine and Jilly's record, it cost so damn much for just one record and on top of that when we changed our band name they would not even accommodate this. On top of that, they changed the way you log in like a year or so later unnecessarily which caused issues.
As for Spotify, I occasionally use it cause artists give me links when I'm scouting bands to invite to IMP and of all the sites, I probably cringe the most when this is the link I have to use because I've often run into complications when I do.

never had issues with the spot, or cdbaby, doesnt cost that much for the service they offer, and getting ones music out to so many places and opening far more of a fan base as well, deezer is one of them, I just got so many streams there so far it is actually rivaling spotify. that is my experience and better opportunities to get ones music out into the world

Thanks for the heads up on the album!
On the subject of CDbaby, I've always found CDbaby excellent as they collect stats for plays on most online platforms and send the money through PayPal whenever you reach a minimum amount. Personally for what it cost I thought it was pretty good value as as long as you put the correct codes in the tracks when you get them mastered the tracks are recognised everywhere including youtube plays. Anyway - I don't make a lot from my music but I have certainly more than covered any initial costs to CDbaby and it saves having to send everything individually. But no doubt it doesn't suit everyone.
