I completely understand people get weary of my constant posts about my tunes...but understanding doesn't translate into an ability to stop myself from doing it.

On this mix I think I calmed down the harshness, and I also brought in a beating drum which sort of had the flavor of war.

I think perhaps I let the guitar part where the wa peddle is closed get a bit too loud. I turned it up there during the mix because when you close the wa it kills some volume, but now I wonde if that decrease in volume is actually the correct sound, if maybe the pedals already have that figured out.

All my guitar playing days I have been a cry baby addict...

Dude. It's even better than before... I like this mix more. It was nice to hear the cello(?) poke through a bit more in the first verse... more presence to it all, sounded closer, or bigger, either/or. Awesome.

BTW is that you on harmonica?

Sounds good even through the crappy computer speakers! I'll look forwrad to a relisten when I've reattached my main mixer to the compter (need a spare so I dont dismantle everything each time I gig, but that;s another story..)

Yeah Bob, that cello is a beautiful texture that the song could use more of. But it's a great lean mix of a classic tune. I couldn't hear the tom either, though.
