You guys are great. I'd love to see the show.
Do you get paid anything worthwhile, sharing the stage with other artists? In my area club owners use young musicians to draw a crowd and offer a few bucks as compensation.
That's alright for your average amateur (just having fun with music & friends) but I think Eucalyptus is beyond that. If the pay isn't good, and the band members are truly committed, you'd better shoot toward opening for bigger names or getting into festivals or something. Don't undervalue your talent!
Anyway, way to go guys, i love it.

we get paid alright (if even), but have definitely been trying to gig more often and hope to make it onto some festival lineups later this year.
Really appreciate the comments and compliments.
The show went well, and we actually played a house party this past weekend and got some pretty good footage of it...should be up on the page sometime soon.

Gigs are fun aren't they? Even with no pay at all.
We have our second one this month (with our cover band -- classic rock) in a venue recently renovated with acoustic treatment. Supposed to be good. We will be well-paid, but this is cover rock not original material.
Good luck with the originals, I think you're great and want to encourage you to keep it up.
Make a demo and try to open for bigger acts. Contact the people at the venues where they play. Keep networking with older folks and make friends rather than trying to sell yourself (but don't miss any chances there either).
Your IAC releases show that you can really play live. Go for it, lads!

There's no better feeling than that of presenting your art and having it openly accepted by friends and strangers...
Sounds pretty cool, I hope yall have a good experience playing there...what classic rock covers do yall usually play?
I've contacted a few venues over this past week and we will be playing at least two shows in March (been confirmed to play at the Apache and Red Light) and we'll be playing at an Earth Day festival on Georgia Tech campus in April.
Preciate the optimism...it's always underrated and too often overlooked
