Campaign For Real Punk
Just uploaded the first salvo in The Zips' campaign for real punk - 30 Years Of Punk Rock. too bloody often we are teamed up on the same bill as (admittedly) younger bands who cite punk rock as an influence. we say - no way Jose. For a start, if your songs have more than 3 chords - it's not punk - it's jazz - and we didn't say that - Lou Reed did.
get real! get basic! forget everything you ever learned - and play from the heart!
punk is not a genre - it's a design for life!
