I guess I am a bit of a grinch but I always approach Christmas with great dread. I use to love it and spent great amounts of energy to make it all perfect. Now, I want to take a pill and sleep through the whole thing. I was very lucky this year to catch a very bad case of the flu. So I slept through much of Christmas. The one thing I really did cherish was spending the quality time with my daughter.

Being a grape is hard. At best, someone plucks you from your prime........at worst.....well they shrink you on a tray and shove you into a bunch of bran flakes. I think this person has a great point.
May the holidays end soon for you, grape. I raise my wine glass to you........it is a full bodied, red, perfectly aged...........whoops. That was just wrong.
