Hi and thanks to new listeners
Hi everyone. I'm Ray Gibson, new to the IAC but not new to music. Born in Grimsby, UK, I went to Europe, chasing a girl. It never worked out but I stayed there. I was frontman for Czech/German band, 'The Roads', attracting a large following in that part of Europe. I've now gone solo and have spent over 12 months recording and perfecting my debut album, 'Fishing Muddy Puddles' in the city I now call home, Berlin.
I am a prolific artist and therefore very visual and I've carried that over into my music. I've created lyrics and soundscapes which present very vivid pictures, tell human stories and allow experimentation with musical instruments and processes.
I've applied my art to You Tube too by creating an innovative album player, where fans can stream my entire album and each song is accompanied by artwork and animation created by me especially for the player. From what I can see, this is the first time You Tube has been used in this way, so maybe I'll be a trend setter?
Thank you to all those who have listened to and liked my music and welcome to my world.
Gracious thanks,
Ray
