Good News for Neg Ten?
This is the truest indication I've seen of the state of popular music. I was looking at the Billboard Hot 100 to see if the Stones single made it. It didn't (might be too soon) but what I did see was astonishing.
Sweet Home Alabama had reentered at #31.
Don't Stop Believin' at #35.
Born In The USA at #36.
Take Me Home Country Roads at #41
all original versions. WTF? I tell ya folks, the winds of change are blowin' in Neg Ten's direction. The current music scene has nothing left iin the tank, the indies are coming!

I am not surprised by Country Roads, since that was the theme song for our USA World Cup Soccer team. And even the other three "chart breakers" could be attributed to all the foreign tourists here for soccer, digging the American culture. But that does not distract from your point that there is no new music to get excited about right now except for Indie Music. You guys are definitely making a huge splash!

Good songs / tunes do not have a use by date. we sometimes think the last work we recorded is our best, but songs can age like wine and have a 2nd life (pun intended)
You guys have a unique sound that ages well even more so as AI takes hold. some listeners prefer to hear the real thing. Indie sound is emotional.
