What's happening with the song contest?
I sent this mail to admin@iacmusic.com a week ago, but nobody answered:
"Hi chaps,
I was absolutely delighted to find I’d won 1st place in the Folk/Acoustic/Americana category of the song competition – I think the competition was a great initiative that really peaked people’s interest. I just have a couple of queries:
- I’d promoted the competition among family, friends and fans and so promptly sent out an announcement with the good news. But many have come back saying that the competition is nowhere to be found on IAC homepage (and hasn’t been there for some time). This seems a shame after the months of anticipation. Plus you know how these things work: if people can see what they need within a few seconds, then they click away – so a lost opportunity for the IAC also.
- Since I haven’t heard from you guys direct, I’m not sure how to go about “claiming my prize”…
Looking forward to hearing from you!"
I still think the contest was a great idea. But the lack of communications seems kind of odd.
Can anyone shed a little light on it?

The best email to use for any IAC inquiry is the one that's on your administration page which is iacsupporthotline@gmail.com.
I'll pass this on to the person in charge of prizes though.

Yeah, but how about a front page feature of the winners?
This thing just kinda petered out ( and you know how I hate to talk about peters) when it should have at least gotten some kinda link on pagino uno. Doncha think? You want me to make a page for the winners and placers that you can just link to? If so, gimme a list of all the winners and I will.
Oh, and the whiny winners can just beg iacsupport for prizes, I don't care about that part.

We have a station with all the winners on it.
http://iacmusic.com/stationGen.aspx?stationID=7074
We did also run the Awards Show Shoutcast for 24 hours, did you listen?
When the contest is completely over we'll probably make a page for it to put on front page.
Maeve, all the winners were sent emails but from what I understand some were found in the spam box.

Like prolly 90% of interested parties, I missed the awards show - due to RL, as crappy a reason as that is.
To most people, I'm 100% certain the contest simply dropped out of sight.
Post a little box on the front page with a link to the station, for chrisake.

Just a suggestion - the Honorable Mention Winners should be listed on the same page as the winners.
