This Thing Starts
So I don't really know what to write, or what other people write, but I'm just going to say that I have a few friends who invited me onto this site so I eventually gave in and created a page. I think it's very important to pay our respects to the late John Lennon on the day of his birth, which is today. So I dedicate this blog to him. A little about me, I go to college, I live in California, specifically Long Beach, but I'm only here during the school year. My hobbies obviously are concentrated around music. My greatest joy is finding new bands and following them while they hopefully gain the attention they deserve. probably the reason why i created this thing. i will create a radio? or playlist or whatever it is so anyone who is still reading this it'd be cool if we become cyber friends.

Isn't it obvious,
I write essays for emails
That don't get a reply
I should save them as memoirs
And look back in time
Like eyes searching
The deepest part of space
Since this is where I'm going
And this is where I've been
This may be who I want to be
But it isn't who I am

Nice to meet ya and welcome to IAC.

Good poem. I have aol so all my Emails for many years are saved, it is sort of a history, it's a trip to go back and look now and then.

This pipeline is a good place to say pretty much anything that's on your mind about your life and such.

Hi Dylan you say "My greatest joy is finding new bands and following them while they hopefully gain the attention they deserve..." you are certainly in the best place to follow that dream at IAC. You should start a Station here dedicated to spotting the bands that you think will make it really big one day - there's is nothing better than 'discovering' an underrated talent and helping it to blossom by supporting, playing and being part of their first fan base. Keep writing those essays, you may be able to incorporate them into your college work at some point :)
