THE NEW MARS VOLTA ALBUM (masterpiece?)
I've been listening to the new Mars Volta album The Bedlam in Goliath for about two weeks straight now, and I still haven't been able to wrap my mind around the complexity of it all. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this same experience or not...and if you haven't heard it...LISTEN TO IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN...this could easily be one of the best albums of the year

I haven't heard it yet, but I've been listening to Deloused in the Comatorium for years and my mind is still flapping loosely around it. Mars Volta is a band that I love when I'm in the mood but can't listen to when I'm not. They're like jalapeno peppers - I love em but not for breakfast.

yea...they tend to be that way with most ppl...I would say this is the most approachable album for someone who has never listened to them, tho...even though it begins (and remains almost the entire duration) at around 1000 mph.
