Added to LAID BACK LIFE STATION
fine female lead vocal, childs voice, native drumming---
The dancer inside is tapping along--the freaky guitar---the percussion beats, moulded inside a world of parts that keep energising the listener.
A very difficult track to tie into one genre---seems to sail through many---have a dance party!

Rob -Thanks for the add to your station "Laid Back Life" and the nice words.
You're a great friend as well as a great station manager, musician, sculptor and too many other things to list!!
Phlegm - Thank you for adding me to your station, Phlegm's Favorites. A blessing from the Pope of Punk is a real treasure. Your talent is only exceeded by your generosity of spirit and your talent is immeasurable.
Now pry my lips off both your butts so I can get back to mixing my next song!

Richard, I LOVE everything about this song!!! This should be in a movie for real. Honestly, I could see this in a "Avatar" movie. I can see the characters going through the lush forest, discovering new sights and sounds. Wow. It's great when a song brings up such a vivid picture in ones mind...Kudos.

Slim - I love everything about your review! - You've had a big influence on me since you've been at IAC. I admire you and your music very much. You've inspired me to get out of comfort zone and broaden my horizons. RnB/Soul was my first love, before the Beatles came along. It was the soundtrack of my childhood. But as we all know, you never forget your first love. My next song is gospel and there is even a rap song in the works as well as a Sam and Dave style soul track.
I'm gonna listen to this advice: "Play that funky music, white boy."

Man, your singers on that track are just amazing!!! You need to do more R&B/Soul music. You are so good at it, for real, so I can place more up on my station. Thank you for the compliment Richard. It means alot. "Play that funky rhythm til you die..."

Very fun song Richard. I love that kind of female choir sound in the chorus. It has the feel of a Baptist church revival. I also like how you use the guitar so sparingly - just at the right places - and don't overdo it like so many guitarists might. You might try to avoid certain rhymes that have been rhymed 1000 times before: season/reason; madly/gladly - even suit cha/future has been used (Cat Stevens' Road to Find Out). I know we can't use an original rhyme every with every line, but some rhymes can sound overused and take away from the line. I think we should think first about what we're saying in the the line and worry about rhymes secondarily. But I enjoyed this song, so this is just a minor criticism. Your production is fantastic.

Hey Richard- I really dig this song. It's very well written, arranged and produced. It reminds me quite a bit of Salief Keita and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Nice work! -Mike K of Lieder
