IAC Update
Can anyone update us on what's happening behind the scenes - a message to everyone or something. I have an album launch in October and only want to link it here if things are going to be running smoothly.
For now I've updated all my tracks at Soundcloud as well but you don't get the interactivity there so would prefer to keep my player on my main website linking here but I'm a bit worried that it will be in the middle of the updates - if there are going to be temporary stability issues I'd rather know now.
Would it be possible for someone to do a proper message to us all letting us know what is happening - please and what the "improvements" will be and when. Thanks

If your launch is scheduled within the last 20 days of October, there will be no issues to worry about, except unforeseen disaster-type things like the server gets sunk by a battleship. :)
It's looking like we're on track for our goal of Oct 1 (no later than Oct 8) for the changes to be installed, and that will take place in one leap. When they are ready the site could be down a day or so. Assuming your release is the 10th or later, your timing is actually great because more people will be looking at the site then for sure.
It's not a bad thing to have a presence at all the most busy mp3 sites. I'd add though, in my opinion most of them don't seem to care much if the artists on their sites live or die!

Yes I'll keep my Soundcloud and Reverb going too - I just can't be bothered with Myspace!
Look forward to seeing the changes/updates.

I've sent a bunch of e mails asking why our songs aren't tracking.
I finally got one that said they are changing the tracking system.. no details..
No "sorry for the inconvenience, no further information, nothing.
Chandra is right.. there should have been some memo for all members
to understand what's going on. I wan to upgrade my membership but
I have a wait and see approach right now.
