First new release in a while
My D drive has been on the fritz (apologies to anyone named Fritz). Got a new one. Problem solved.
Check out this new rocknrolla: Through an Open Door
It just might kick your ass.
Thanks,
Tom

Wow, Tom, I really, really, like this track! Great work (not an outtatune moment anywhere, uh, hehe)! It describes my feelings exactly, more often than I would want to admit (being the he-man that I obviously am).
Say, how would you feel about someone else covering this tune?

Oh, yeah, and, as someone named Fritts, no offense taken, I hear that all the time. :)

Hey Dan - I think it would be wild for you, or anyone to cover this tune! I'd be totally open to that. It's very flattering. And I want my music to reach as many ears as possible - doesn't matter if I'm playing it or someone else. I'd love to hear what you could do with it!

I really appreciate your comments, Richard. I tried to make this song sonically good as well as having something to say. In other words, I paid more attention to the music this time before the lyrics.

Tom ~ I enjoy commenting on the songs of my fellow artists. What do you think of my new song: "War No More".

Hey Richard,
I always appreciate your comments. I've been without a computer for a few days (it's in the shop, and right now I'm on my computer at work that has no sound). So as soon as I get the chance, I'll listen to "War No More" and tell you what I think.
I certainly like the lyric and the sentiment. I'm an avid pacifist and think that war is never justified. It is a holdover from our animal nature and I think we are capable of rising above that. I'm glad there are evolved souls such as yourself who can sing about it. Good work just on the lyrics.

Just have a moment here and no speakers ... Moved into a new place and I have no internet yet ... but ... I do have a few cd's from artist here ... and one is the cd that you so gracefully sent me Tom ...
Just wanted to say I listen to it often .... and although I don't like the word "favorite", I must say "Change the World" is fantastic imo... I love that tune, just grabs me ... anyway just thought I'd say that, and hello to you and everyone here ... Hopefully I'll be back on line soon...

Good to hear from you, Sam!
Thanks for the kind words about "Change the World."
This is kind of embarrassing, but I went back to my original recording of that song and realized looking at the settings that I never even gave it any equalization at all! No bass, no treble, no mids, no panning - nothing! Everything was recorded flat. So for that to still sound good to you is high praise.
I remixed it, and you can hear the results here:
Change the World
Hope you're back soon!
