update on Neg Ten
I'm working on 3 songs at once, 2 Beatle-lyish numbers and one that defies categorization. Just finished the vocals on the first, that one is close to sending to the band.

Do you send them a multitrack recording with you singing and playing guitar and they add the other instruments? I’m just asking because the recordings sound like you’re all in the same room playing together! Give us a glimpse into the process. I think a lot of us would find it interesting. Do you use Pro-Tools ?

I use a Roland 16 track recorder, record the song using fake drums, rhythm guitar and vocals and add any other instruments and harmonies that are in my head. Dave and Jonny then add real drums, bass and additional lead guitar but Dave is also a gifted singer and keyboard player along with producer.

That is like old school that's why it,s worth buying Roland though it just lasts forever. When i played in the Awkwards we used to use a 4 track Roland as a backing machine. Just to fill out the sound a bit because there was only the 2 of us. Love to be in a band again though thinking about it a real one that practices once a week. Scotland is coming out of lockdown. So maybe this is the time

Go for it!
Anyway so 2 of the songs mentioned above are close to finished and both sound way better than I could've imagined.
2 others are still brewing on my vs-1680.
I also despite saying I wasn't going to do this ended up writing a new political song. This one may be the most controversial one yet.
