For years, my pat answer has been:
Pet Sounds.
But it's more complicated than that. It really depends upon the day and my mood on that day.
On any other day it could be
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel
or
Estuando o Samba by Tom Zé
or
Something Else by The Kinks
or
Revolver by The Beatles
or
Paris, 1919 by John Cale
or, something else altogether different that I hadn't even considered.
But, for simplicity's sake, for now, I'll just keep it at Pet Sounds.

Todd,
Tell me your Steve Morse story. He's my all time fav guitarist!
Here's mine:
I go and see his three piece band every chance I get at Slims in SF. (Dave LaRue is an awsome bassist by the way!) So I bought one of his "archive" CD's and he signed it after a show. When he handed his CD back to me, I handed him one of mine and said "Steel anything you want PLEASE! Just don't use it for skeet shooting or a table coaster" Steve got a good laugh out of that and told me he would be glad to listen to it.
I never heard anything after that, but Steve had what seemed to be an honest persona.

My Steve Morse story (sorry it took so long):
Ran into him walking the floor of a NAMM show when I was 16, confessed my fandom, and he told me, "Come on and take a walk with me!"
Showed me a couple of little things once we got over the the Ernie Ball booth, and gave me some little bits of advice. One of the very nicest people that I have ever met. So generous with his time and just plain... NICE.
Never had the chance to see him play on-stage, but that little 5-minute private lesson was still pretty damn cool. And, more than 20 years later, I still cannot do a lot of the things that he showed me!

My favourite album is by an amazing duo called Philip Henry and Hannah Martin. They're a couple and live they are just brilliant - he plays Dobro guitar and she plays violin, sings, guitar and they change instruments all the time. Their album Mynd is on our player at least once a week and is my all time favourite.

Too many. Depends on the day and month. Time. Etc.
But when I read this question the first one that popped into my head was...
Talking Book by Stevie Wonder.
But if you had asked my about two hours ago I might have answered...
Inner Mounting Flame by The Mahavishnu Orchestra.
Last night it would have been...
... and when on a date it is "whatever she wants to hear."
