You got a brand new car but you're still livin' with your mother
You just can't see yourself in an old used Dodge.

This is so typical of Narcistic Gaslighting, I can feel the hurt. The healthy "love bombed" is happy and then suddenly feels strange...yet...why does he feels like an alien from outer space? ...oops, something is.....mmm wrong?

Your voice sounds good. The antihero of the song is so pathetic that I probably wouldn't want to hear about him again, but you're singing well.

Nice song FT. The person you are referring to reminds me of some people we call "ghetto fabulous". Meaning" they live in the projects in poverty but drive a brand new Cadillac. Everyone of of have felt the pressure of growing up and needing to be self sufficient. The transistion can be very difficult for some. Difficult or not, it must be done. A man must be able to take care of himself before even thinks about taking care of a family. Tough time for a kid. When I was 17 I was in Vietnam dodging bullets. But when I came home I was totally ready for manhood and all that it entails. Great song FT! Hit the nail right on the head there.
